Hi!
I can fix it for the project manager by explicitly setting the fill property of the top VBox to true in the GtkBuilder file. But is it the right fix ? If yes, we have to check almost all .ui files.
I guess we will need to fix that in the ui files. It's a bit ugly but seems like the default value for this property changed in gtk+-3.0 (and I guess they had reasons for that, haven't checked).
Then I have found a similar issue: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=587256 But this bug is quite old and the resolution is not clear. Do you have more information about this now ?
The root cause of this bug has been fixed in glade. I think it isn't much of an issue these days. Johannes
