[Anjuta-list] (Urgent) How to add -lpthread linking option

Sorry if this is a duplicate.  The list didn't recognize me as a subscriber
from my other address for some reason.

I'm new to Anjuta, Linux development and automake so please have mecy on me.
 
I'm trying to complete a a C project today that requires pthreads.  In order to overcome an unresolved reference to "pthread_create", I've learned that I must give the "-lpthread" option to gcc when linking.
 
Unfortunatlely, I'm having trouble determining where in Anjuta and/or the complex Makefiles it produces I should add the "-lpthread".  Would someone be so kind as to clue me in?
