Balsa problem

Hello,

I recently downloaded and installed Balsa 0.9.0 on my Linux Red Hat 6.2
system.
Balsa works fine but when I start Balsa each time, the messages that I
previously deleted keep showing back up in my Inbox. I noticed that I
get a file named
Inbox.lock or inbox.localhost.XXX in my mail directory. If I manually
delete these files, the deleted messages don't show back up in my Inbox.
Do I have this mis-configured somehow?
