Gave up trying to resolve failed dependencies on balsa 1.1.6 (i.e. balsa
depends on libesmtp which depends on libcrypto which is actually installed
by openssl, but unfortunately not seen by the libesmtp rpm ... :-(()

So, compiled libesmtp (configured for balsa) and installed ok but, the
balsa  src.rpm fails to install(?) and the tar.gz file appears to be
corrupted so, that's why I ended up installing 1.1.1-3 ::-((
