Natural Language processing program

I was surfing the web when I ran into this: http://www.gate.ac.uk/
I thought the list might be interested. It has the ability to pick out 
people's names, organizations, places as well as email addresses and 
urls from a txt or html file with a decent amount of success. The 
downside is it's written in java so it would require using ikvm in 
order to use it as a library. Nonetheless it's an impressive piece of 
LGPL'd work.
