Maybe I'm misreading the error message but:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 86824 2006-08-20 17:40 /usr/lib/cli/evolution-sharp-2.0/libevolutionglue.so

I've followed up on the related bug:

    http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=386746

Since other people are seeing it and it's related to a downstream Ubuntu bug, it would be helpful post findings there.
