It appears the problem when using Drivel with Blogger 1.0 is simply that the default URL is not (or is no longer) correct. Drivel uses: http://plant.blogger.com/api/RPC2 for its default Blogger 1.0 URL value, but this should be: http://www.blogger.com/api (as stated at the bottom of the Blogger Third Party Apps page at http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=42347&query=api&topic=&type=f) . When I change the URL accordingly in Drivel's Blogger 1.0 field, it works for me. I believe that a previous poster pointed you to the current source tree. Good luck! You can choose Movable Type, and for the server address put http://yourdomain.com/xmlrpc.php.  Same goes for WordPress actually.  Meanwhile, there is a bug in the BlogAPI module that you will likely run into using this - I've been putting off filing a proper bug report with a fix for too long...
