Let us know what glyphs you've been working on, which font it's for (Serif, Sans, Sans Mono), and let this project get truly under way. Let us know what glyphs you've been working on, which font it's for (Serif, Sans, Sans Mono), and let this project get truly under way. Okay, now is the time to speak up and let the group know who's in on this project. Let us know what glyphs you've been working on, which font it's for (Serif, Sans, Sans Mono), and let this project get truly under way. Preferred subranges include Latin Extended-B and Additional (which Sander seems to have going pretty well), IPA extensions, Basic Greek, Greek Extended, Cyrillic, Cyrillic Extended, and possibly Armenian, Hebrew, Arabic, as well as Combining Diacritical Marks, Spacing Modifier Letters, General Punctuation, Currency Symbols, Mathematical Operators, Gothic, Deseret, and Shavian. If anyone has started or made any of the glyphs in any of these categories, let everyone, me especially, know and we can get this project under way. Take care, all! Charles D. Daf has worked on extending Vera with support for Welsh (and some other languages): http://muse.19inch.net/~daf/olwen/ We've been planning to merge our efforts for a while now, but somehow always seem to not have time to do it. We've been considering using Gnome CVS as well. I guess we could use a leader here, and you sound like a good candidate ;) So, what do you think? Cheers, Danilo ____________ Well, sure, I could be the leader if no one else volunteers. Like I said, I ’m only a very, very amateur font maker, as I’ve been just adding diacritics and making very few new letters, and taking shortcuts when I do. Does anyone else want to make some glyphs, perhaps from Latin Extended-B, IPA, Greek, Cyrillic...? Also like I said, I’m working on the Serif font, so if anyone else wants to work on a different font, let me know, but I’ve done quite a bit with this font already. Hope to hear something good soon! I would be more than happy to be the organizing force behind this project. As per Sander's request, I won't make any more glyphs of Extended-B or Additional. Charles D.
