At one point he gave regrets for a couple months, I'm not sure how it
was reflected in the minutes. It was a one-time deal though, for
medical reasons. Not something I expect to happen again, is all I'm
saying.

Nope, you got it right. Regrets means we expected them to be absent in
advance because they sent an explanation. Missing means they just
didn't show.

Of course. In fact the board needs more people on it with time to get
things done.
