[gitg] Traditional window layout

Hello

Is there an option to compile or run gitg with a traditional window layout?

What I mean by traditional is:
- using the window manager's frame and title bar
- a menu bar
- a proper toolbar with tooltips on the buttons

If the answer is no, is there an old release or a different branch that 
is like this?
