[Glade-users] Simultaneous processes

Hi

 Will simultaneous processes run in Glade? For eg: there are many background
processes running for one application ie, if we are on one page of a
notebook widget, still the other page's processes are running continuously.
Like the calculation of some value which is taken from a file which keeps on
changing frequently. So can glade helps in running these simultaneous
processes? Is there any specific function to make them running throughout
even if it (the page of a notebook) is not being loaded?
