This is weird.  The library file libanjuta-1.la should be created in
anjuta2/libanjuta before building the plugins.  Can you verify that the
file was indeed created and installed?  Also, more information such as
prefix where you're installing and whether the build directory is
different than the source directory would help diagnose the problem.
