I think that there is no soluti= on in any GNOME Flashback version...

Hello everyone,

It's my first time trying out using a 2nd monitor. One issue I'= m having is that sometimes I accidentally miss the scrollbars on the windows and end up clicking on the second monitor. I found out there's a setting for Unity called "Sticky edges" which s= tops the cursor on the edge of the monitor and makes you use more "force&qu= ot; in order to move the cursor to the second monitor. But, as I suspected, it doesn't work on Flashback.
Is there a way to achieve this in Flashback? I'm using version 3.8 (which I know is a bit old). Is there a solution for newer versions?
Thanks.

I do have 16.04 on secondary computers (work and laptop), so I'm getting used to it before I update my main computer. I'll probably be doing it in the next few months anyway.

I use that version because I'm on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, which I like better than 16.04 (I know..., I'll have to move on eventually :'( ).

Hi,

I think that there is no solution in any GNOME Flashback version...

Anyway, what is reason to use that version?

Hello everyone,

It's my first time trying out using a 2nd monitor. One issue I'm having is that sometimes I accidentally miss the scrollbars on the windows and end up clicking on the second monitor. I found out there's a setting for Unity called "Sticky edges" which stops the cursor on the edge of the monitor and makes you use more "force" in order to move the cursor to the second monitor. But, as I suspected, it doesn't work on Flashback.
Is there a way to achieve this in Flashback? I'm using version 3.8 (which I know is a bit old). Is there a solution for newer versions?

Thanks.

Why? For example I do like how nautilus looks...

CSD windows and Ambiance theme, right? Yes, that can b= e fixed by tweaking theme or by using different theme that has good support= for CSD windows.

- gnome-system-monitor has a bug since they moved the graphs axis to the right: all graphs have a 6 second delay, which makes them almost useless.

Is that reported?
=C2=A0
- There is no Preferences option in nautilus (it's in the global menu or AppMenu, if you have one...)

Known bug, probably caused by ubuntu patches and/or because nautilu= s version is very old, 3.14.x?
=C2=A0

This and CSD windows most likely will not disappear, so you wi= ll have to accept that at some point...
=C2=A0
=C2=A0 - There's no window-buttons and window-title applets. I can't l= ive without them. Although, since I ported them, can't use it as an excuse anymore :)

Thanks to y= our work these applets are in 3.24, but unfortunately it will not be availa= ble in zesty. So will need to wait for 17.10 or next LTS release.

=C2=A0
- Some other little thinks which I don't remember right now

I do have 16.04 on secondary computers (work and laptop), so I'm getting used to it before I update my main computer. I'll probably be doing it in the next few months anyway.

It must be, it's a very noticeable bug. The only one I found is this:

- There is no Preferences option in nautilus (it's in the global menu or AppMenu, if you have one...)

Known bug, probably caused by ubuntu patches and/or because nautilus version is very old, 3.14.x?
Yes, that's the one that came with 16.04 LTS. But it's the same= with nautilus 3.20 on zesty.

Not t= rue. In zesty you need / can add appmenu button in button-layout and it sho= uld work.
=C2=A0
=C2=A0 - There'= s no window-buttons and window-title applets. I can't live without them. Although, since I ported them, can't use it as an excuse anymore :)
