Pablo, I hope you don't mean you want to port xmms to gtk2. :-) What I found in xmms-devel is just 1 or 2 request for porting to gtk2(!) so far, and no single answer for that. Most likely xmms developers expect other applications (like beep-m-p) to replace it later.
