You may notice a nice feature that the grayed-out buttons are VERY gray :)
But that is not the point... the point is this:

put this to ~/.gnome/gtkrc:

	http://tigert.gimp.org/files/screenshots/gnome-apr28.gtkrc

and your gnome gets some color. 

IDEA/Suggestion:

	Someone with some coding experience (=not me) could make a small
	program that parses ~/.gnome/gtkrc and popped a color-selector...
	Then you tweak the color, and it would save you a new gtkrc with
	the new color. Would it be possible to 'Apply' the colors to
	running apps?
