I am having some problems compiling imlib which I understand should
come after GTK+. I set up a link from /usr/share/aclocal to my
/usr/local/gnome/share/aclocal for gtk the way I had to for glib, but
I get these error messages...I also ran ldconfig after updating the
ld.so.conf file...Any help would be appreciated... I put my errors at
the bottom.
Thanks,
Bill
[root@localhost imlib]# ./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr/local/gnome
--with-gtk-prefix=/usr/local/gnome
Using `AC_PROG_RANLIB' is rendered obsolete by `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL'
You should add the contents of `/usr/local/share/aclocal/libtool.m4'
to `aclocal.m4'.
aclocal: configure.in: 7: macro `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL' not found in library
utils/Makefile.am:91: variable `GTK_LIBS' not defined
utils/Makefile.am:91: variable `GTK_LIBS' not defined
loading cache ./config.cache
./configure: syntax error near unexpected token
`AM_CONFIG_HEADER(config.h)'
./configure: ./configure: line 524: `AM_CONFIG_HEADER(config.h)'
Now type 'make' to compile imlib.
