RE: GNOME registry



If a modular config library is written, there could be an XML module written
to save config settings.

It would be great to use XML on stand alone computers.

I would prefer to use LDAP on networks where there is more then a fiew
boxes.

Being able to choose it the greatest thing about Linux, Unix, GNOME, etc.

The idea is to be able to change what format you want with out changeing any
code.
