Problem compiling gnome-guile

Well, I compiled and installed egcs and that fixed some of my other
problems (BTW, linux-2.0.34 compiled and ran fine for me with egcs,
though the kernel is now slightly larger)...however, now I can't get the
gnome-guile package to compile.

Already compiled and installed:
gtk+
imlib
mico
gnome-libs
gnome-objc
gnome-core

but gnome-guile exits with the following error:

gcc -g -O2 -o .libs/gnomeg main.o gnomeg.o client.o gnome-glue.o
-Wl,-rpath -Wl,/usr/local/lib ../guile-gtk/.libs/libguilegtk.so -lguile
-ldl -lqt -L/usr/local/lib -ltermcap -L/usr/local/lib -lgnomeui -lgnome
-lgnomesupport -ldl -lgdk_imlib -ltiff -lz -ljpeg -ljpeg -lpng -lz -lSM
-lICE -L/usr/local/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lgtk -lgdk -lglib -lXext -lX11
-lm -lm -lintl
/usr/local/lib/libgnomeui.so: undefined reference to `dgettext'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [gnomeg] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/gnome/gnome-guile-0.20/guile-gnome'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/gnome/gnome-guile-0.20'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

I have installed xgettext
%xgettext --version
xgettext - GNU gettext 0.10

and I also tried compiling and installed gnome-libs with ./configure
--with-included-gettext

Anyone have any other ideas? I couldn't find anything related on the
gnome-FAQ.
