Did not Miguel De Icaza (one of the "big boys" in Gnome) post to this 
list just a few days ago (he repeated it twice) that we were to use 'cvs 
checkout' to get updates from the tree?  This is confusing when you tell 
us otherwise, Raja?  Who win's in an arm-wrestling competition, you or 
Miguel? ;-)

Someone emailed me and said that the way CVS works is that 'cvs checkout' 
only sends over diffs anyway (without the buggy behaview of 'cvs 
update') if you do it in the directory that you did the initial 
checkout dir?  Is this wrong?  I'll look in Per Cedqvist's manual if I can't 
get a straight answer here (or try it myself with my own repository)?
