Problem with applets/gnome-libs

Hi,
I have downloaded and compiled gnome-libs-0.30.1 and gnome-core-0.30
without any problems on a libc 5.4.46 based system.

When I try to start CPU-usage and CPUmem-usage applets I get:

cpuload_applet: can't resolve symbol ´alphasort´

I suspect the problem is in the gnome-libs and the way they are linked,
but I can't find out how to fix it in the makefiles.
( In Gnome 0.27 the applets worked just fine for me )

Otherwise GNOME is just GREAT!
