I  compile  GNOME beta releases sometimes (just to look that is it and
it  that  state).  In  0.21  and  0.30  I could compile core packages,
although  in  0.21  I  couldn't start panel; in 0.30 panel starts, but
other  apps ( help browser, ps reader, ee ) just segfaulted. But I had
no problems with compilation.
