Documentation guidelines and EsounD release schedule

Ok, it's been forever since the last "official" EsounD
release; it's (over)due. I'd like to call it stable.
Please refrain from patches unless they are required to
fix platform compatibility problems or major bugs. Also,
if you manage to get this running on platforms other
than Linux, please email me so I can update the
documentation for EsounD accordingly. I'd like to call
this official sometime before Oct 30.

On the documentation side, is there a docbook format
template document that I can edit? Or should I just
translate the linuxdoc format documentation I've been
working with to docbook? How are the automatic document
generation tools coming along? Should I try playing with
those? Tips? Advice?
