CVS Seg Fault and lag

Hiyas,

Firstly Im getting seg faults on cvs.

cvs login takes about to years to generate the ./cvspasswd
and when I execute cvs -z3 ORBit for example it segs.

Im using :pserver:anonymous@anoncvs.gnome.org:/cvs/gnome as CVSROOT

Any Ideas ?? Im trying to get the newest cvs of Orbit and libIDL

Also any mirror sites.. Cause that one is Butt slow (whatever butt slow
is)
