Bugs

I discovered the following:

If I manually set the clock on my system, the Afterstep Clock Applet, er,
stops ticking. Dead. Still removable though.

Also, the CD Player applet: if there isn't a CD in the drive when the
applet is started, it refused to see one when one is inserted, even
following a manual mount, however gtcd plays it happily. The drivemounting
issue appears to be one the most annoying limitations of Linux, I have to
say (note recent thread). I have to remove and restart the applet for the
cd-change to take effect.

Finally, I tried accessing the Dialogs and MDI settings via the foot; both
came up and then disappeared abruptly. I note that going through to the
control center, then selecting MDI or Dialogs makes my hard disk thrash
wildly swapping, even though no other apps were loaded (I'd just started
a gnome-session through startx).
