You do realize that the official GNOME project has absolutely nothing whatsoever to
do with packaging it?  Almost all of your complains seem to relate to file changes,
which most likely happned because you used the Red Hat RPMs to install both KDE
and GNOME.  You should take up your complaints with the packagers, not the official
project itself, because the GNOME developers are not responsible for packaging it.

Most of the problems you cite are created by the Red Hat 6.0 RPMs and Red Hat 6.0,
not GNOME or KDE itself.
