Re: Samba shares



You need to mount the shares into your root file system.

smbmount //$the_host/$the_share $the_mountpoint -o
username=$acct_name,password=$acct_pass,workgroup=$acct_domain,fmask=660,dmask=770

where $the_host and $the_share would be your \\host\share...
$acct_domain would be your NT domain to authenticate your user/pass
with.
Leave out the optional parameters that are not needed... (following -o
delimited with commas).
