There is proably no recourse.  A lot of people(such as myself) are not
subscribed to all mailing list.  So moving a discussion that might start
in gnome list for one reason or another is pretty hard since everyoneis
not subscribed and yet want to participate.  For example, the EFS
discussion is being moved to kde-gnome discussion list.  I have no
visibility to that list and I don't really care to be on it for just this
one discussion.  I'll probably whine to keep it on gnome-list or
gnome-devel because I'm interested in the thread.
