Where can I find the FHS "rules"?

OK, but not tonight, I'm too tired just now. :)

[root@localhost /root]# rpm -q python
python-1.5.2-7

One question(s) I have... (and I'm sorry if you have mentioned this)

I consider gtk to be a core "technology" and would probably/possibly
update gtk via RH 'up2date'. If I up2date gtk, then do a helix-update, I
assume that helix-update looks at the rh 'up2date' rpm database ('rpm
-q'?) and would only update to a newer package. Can we say the same, if
the process is reversed? Will 'up2date' recognize an rpm package that has
a helix tag?, i.e. gtk+-1.2.8-0_helix_1, and not do an update to an
earlier package?

Thank you for helping me figure out what's going on.
