Dude - this looks like that a certain GNOME application crashed, this 
started gnome_segv, which for some reason your kernel didn't like, so 
your kernel threw up at the error message. Which kernel version are you 
using?  If it is a 2.4.x series try going back to a 2.x series.

Also - try doing an 'export GNOME_DISABLE_CRASH_DIALOG=1' - this will 
turn off the crash dialog (i.e. gnome_segv) so maybe this error won't 
show up.
