Hi Tom,
The trick to making XF4 work on Red Hat 7 is the following command:
Xconfigurator --preferxf4
This will default to XF4 and create the correct files & symlinks. It
then uses the config file:
/etc/X11/XF86Config-4
so if you need to modify your X, that is where you make the
modifications.
