Problem running GNOME under Mandrake 7.1

Hi!

I have installed Mandrake 7.1 and is grate!

But, (the always word), when i login and not select GNOME SESSION in the session menu and try the enlightenment without starting the GNOME SESSION all the aplications that run under GNOME, like gedit, start REALLY slowly when i called them from the enlightenment pop menu.

Any one can help me here?
