ftp resources gone ?

Seems ftp.gnome.org have very low connctions limit and try check mirrors
list also is waste of time because first listed event dont't exist in DNS
(epoch.res.cmu.edu) and all other listed in US do not contain resources
announced in few last days. On few non-US mirror sites situaction is the
same.

What hapens ?
Why acces to ftp.gnome.org is so limited ?
