add kde menu to gnome

Hi,
i want to add the kde menu to gnome. Normally i thought it shows up
automatically, but i don't have it. I have searched a bit in the mailing
lists and they said that you have to right-click on the foot and then
you can choose it, however, i don't get it. Any tips?
