/etc/gtk-2.0/gdk-pixbuf.loaders missing

I am messing around with my GNOME installation, and now programs
are complaining that /etc/gtk-2.0/gdk-pixbuf.loaders is missing.
I have been told that this file is generated.  Does anyone know
how to have this file generated?  Thanks.
