 I have Fedora Core and Gnome = installed, it=20 was working ok for 5 hrs , then when my co-worker logged out I wasn't = able to=20 log back in (no success with root or rok1)

I have recently upgraded from Fedora Core 1 to FC2, and I can't seem to be able to use TTF with GTK 1.x apps anymore -- fonts are listed by xlsfonts, but they appear ugly. You can open the link and move over the files you want, then deleted the link. The theme of Gnome 2.6 desktop looks similar to that of KDE desktop. I want to go back to Gnome theme. >From ~/ I found ~/.kderc but could not locate ~/.gnomerc, only ~/.gnome* folders found. I renamed all of them to ~/.gnome*.old and rebooted the PC without improvement obtained. Please advise how to get ~/.gnomerc back. Is it the cause of the absence of Gnome theme?
