[weekly report]: week 11: mail as a desktop service

I didn't get a chance to write any code last week.  My fulltime job got 
in the way.

I've been going through the code that I have written and planning a 
refactor of the Folder object API that will allow it to be used with the 
FolderList module written over the previous couple of weeks.

The Folder and List modules need to be slimmed down.

I'm close to having something you can read your email with!
