Try to force the 176x144 or 352x288 format with another program to check
that you don't have the same problem.

I think, but I'm not sure, that the driver is "scaling" the picture in
176x144 from a 120x160 picture, or in 352x288 from 320x240. GnomeMeeting
is unable to do that, so I guess it can only be the driver...
What you can do if it is disturbing, is adding a hint in
pwlib/src/ptlib/unix/video4linux.cxx for your driver, and "tell" to
pwlib to open your device in 120x160 or 320x240, but "crop" the picture.
That way, you will have a black border around the picture. That is what
the driver should do IMHO.
