TextView visible rows

Hello list,

i'm having a TextView embbeded in a ScrolledWindow. And now i want
to know how many rows are visible. So i know how many rows i can add
before the ScrolledWindow adds the scrollbars.

I want to add only as much rows as visible. Is there any possibilitiy to
get the number of the visibles rows?
