Hi Dag,

a little story follows below, but the excerpt of your versioning
scheme - we'd name the snapshots something with 0.99XXX? But this would
not express the progress made as the code basis is the 1.0 code basis,
therefore I named the snapshots etc. all 1.0.xxx.

The versioning VERSION.CVSDATE-x is the official Debian versioning way
of such packages, therefore I did the package in this way a bit, but the
interesting and funny case here is:

I renamed the tarball to make it easier for users/RPM packagers (höhö)
to use the tarball so in last consequence I made extra work for myself,
extra work for you and we're all happy or so ;-) Well, would it be ok
with you if I only did snapshot tarballs with gtranslator-1.0.tar.gz as
the package name? Would be easier for me and quicker to do...

Look above for laughing time ;-)

Sorry, forgot to do that - normally I'm doing this in the prerelease
mails to the devel list and the packagers so that you can save time like
you described without moving, browsing etc. but this time I forgot it -
mea culpa :-) Will do it in the next mailings.

Hmm, seeking the package from ftp://dag.wieers.com:/packages/gtranslator
gives me just a list with these files:

Or is the main server for the packages another one?!
