Re: Gtranslator crash in Ubuntu Lucid

Hi Ignacio,

Thanks for the quick reply

I know, hence this message. It is not trivial to request and upload
Stable Release Updates, especially by packages not maintained by
Ubuntu developers, and it might take some time, so I thought in the
meantime, having seen that at some point (IIRC) someone involved in
the upstream project had provided a PPA (Personal Package Archive)
with the latest packages, it might be interesting to reactivate those.

I also know it is not your responsibility as upstream developers to
follow what happens in all distributions, I simply thought it might be
worth commenting here, since you might get some bug reports about
this.

No worries, as I say, I just wanted to send a heads up in case someone
here was involved in packaging and had not noticed. I'll go ahead and
ssee if I can request a Stable Release Update.

Lenny has 1.1.7, (http://packages.debian.org/source/sid/gtranslator),
whereas Sid has 1.9.9
(http://packages.debian.org/source/sid/gtranslator). The problem was
that in Ubuntu the latest sync from Debian was on 1.9.6, which had
that bug.

Regards,
David.
