This is a patch to revision 553. In r556 I made the change that stops 
dropping an instrument in the same position undoable, so this part of 
the patch can be removed.

Also, can you please svn up and make sure everything merges okay with 
the most recent revision, and then resumbit the patch. Once you do that 
I will be happy to commit it :).
