It's very much in active use - GTKmm makes extensive use of it.  It
hasn't seen much change lately, but that just means it's stable.  It's
still excercised regularly.

Ok, that's encouraging.

I was afraid that if I started to use the library to build other stuff
around, that down the road my projects would be build around an
abandoned and no longer updated library - eventually that would become
a problem.
