Hey Sankarshan,
Emmanuele Bassi has helped me a lot to improve the gnome-utils package
during the 2.13 development cycle. Specifically, he

* totally rewrote the gnome-dictionary application, porting everything
to GObject and exporting the dictionary function into an external
library (so it can now be used in other applications in the desktop) -

* ported the entire documentation to gnome-doc-utils (which is quite a
feat in itself)

* applied several fixes to other gnome-utils applications
(gnome-screenshot, gnome-system-log, etc)...

Following these impressive contributions I asked him to help me
co-maintain the gnome-utils package during the 2.13 development cycle
and he was kind enough to agree. So I totally support his application
as a GNOME foundation member.
