Membership Applications from Raimo and Stephan

Hi David (cc: Membership Committee),

I'm reviewing Raimo's and Stephan's membership application to the GNOME Foundation. They mentioned that you recommended them to apply in order to attend this year's .NET + GNOME Hackfest in Vienna.

Unfortunately, I can't approve their membership applications as of now. Raimo's contributions to Banshee were very few and date from 2010, and Stephan's contributions consist mainly of his recently-accepted GSoC project. As explained at https://live.gnome.org/MembershipCommittee/EmeritusMembers/: "Members of the Foundation are required to have made a valuable, recent and non-trivial contribution to the project, and should be planning to actively contribute in the future".

In order for them to still attend the .NET + GNOME Hackfest 2013, I recommend you to reach to the GNOME Foundation Board of Directors through board-list gnome org. They, together with the Travel Committee, might be able to arrange travel assistance for Raimo and Stephan.
