Dear Michael,

Thank you for applying to become a member of the GNOME Foundation! In order to process your application, we
need a bit more information.

It would help us to process your membership application if you could tell us a bit more about any recent
contributions that you have made to GNOME. Once you have provided this we'll get back to you as soon as we
can.

I'm the author of the Audio File Library (http://audiofile.68k.org/)
It is unclear to me how this relates to GNOME. It'd be appreciated if you could elaborate on how this is a
nontrivial contribution to GNOME.

The Audio File Library (libaudiofile) has been included as part of GNOME
for many years and is used by many applications:

ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/audiofile/0.3/audiofile-0.3.6.tar.xz

and have recently contributed to Aravis
(https://wiki.gnome.org/action/show/Projects/Aravis).
While these commits show non trivial contributions indeed, they are the only commits to that project. Do
you have more contributions lined up, i.e. in Bugzilla or in other repositories?

My contribution to Aravis is ongoing, and I expect to submit a number
of patches in the near future, but my work in progress is not published
at this time.

Thanks,
Michael
