Hey Tobi,

Seems htaccess [1] didn't work as expected and was ignored (will fix it today) and the rewrite url was still left to the 2014 edition, it definitely requires updating to the 2016 version of it [2].

Other than that, what's the problem you are trying to underline?

Hi.

I've realised that the bylaws mandate the elections to be carried out by the rules listed on <http://foundation.gnome.org/electionrules.html> (cf.  <https://people.gnome.org/~tobiasmue/bylaws2012/bylaws.html#election-and-term-of-office-of-directors>).

Now this has not been the case.  At least not with the way I read the bylaws.

I wouldn't necessarily want to "challenge" the result, but I think there should be some (not overly creative) explanation of how to fit the execution of the election to the bylaws.
Can we come up with one?

Cheers,
  Tobi
