I am just getting started with orca, gnome and fc6.
What version of ff is reccommended at this point, and where do I get it?

Hello Don,

The best way of learning about anything you need to know is by
visiting the Orca website on Gnome live.
http://live.gnome.org/Orca

I pulled the address from there.
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/

Note. You can also install a reasonably new build of firefox from Yum
if you have the speakup modified repositry installed.
rpm -ivh http://speakupmodified.org/speakup-release.rpm

to install firefox use the following:]
yum --disablerepo='*' --enablerepo=speakup-devel install firefox
sorry, that's from memory so my commands may not be completely
accurate but you'll find all you need to know on
www.speakupmodified.org
I also got great tips from searching the archives.

There are three dependancies that need to be removed for firefox to work in FC6.

Do a search and you should find these. If you have no luck let me know
and I'll dig them out of my history.

one was firefox-devel
sorry. my mind's gone blank.

I know that I figured this out by stumbling across a message in some
archive from Ginina.

Hope this helps.
