Re: [orca-list] Ubuntu 9.04

Hi
It works well. Naturally there are bugs, it is an alpha test at the moment after all, but overall I like it. It's much faster, overall, than 8.10, and you benefit from having an up-to-date gnome 2.25 infrastructure. There's a lot of little improvements all around. Make sure you use the latest daily iso build, a lot of bugs related to audio have been fixed recently.

I'm sorry if many people have asked this already, but how does Ubuntu 9.04 work with Orca? I'm thinking about installing it in a Virtual Machine, see what happens. Are there any differences? Is it faster? Does Espeak and gnome-speech work better than in 8.10?
Thanks!

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.
