Hi Steve
Wow this is getting weird. I run it on several systems too, and it works
on all of them. All the systems run Ubuntu, but that can't be the reason
since other Ubuntu users are having trouble. It's not an orca firefox
preference either, I deleted my prefs file to check that. And, you
guessed it, I can't get it to misbehave. It doesn't seem related to any
add-ons either, and I have a lot of those so it was an angle worth
checking out on my end. I don't have any windows machines so can't
comment on the issue from that side of the fence. I'll keep prodding it
and see if I can't make Firefox misbehave. Maybe if I can force it to
happen it'll help, so far though it doesn't want to act up.

Well my hopes are dashed! I installed the whole binary tree from
Mozilla Firefox-3.6.3 and am running it right now over in gnome. Alas
the caret still jumps to the "More" button. It seems like it might be
less often than before, but still way too often for me. I uninstalled
the ArchLinux package for Firefox and also removed the old 3.5.7
version from /usr/local/lib so I should have any potential conflicts
completely out of the way. So the binary download did not fix it for
me <sigh>. Guess I'm gonna have to keep my 3.5.9 version around if I
expect to manage my bookmarks.

Based on the original bug filed against Mozilla on this, Joanie was
able to reproduce this bug some after a version last July some time.
So this thing is lerking about for some of us. It seems rather odd
that it works for you, Jacob, but for me on two different platforms
and for Bill Cox, I believe, it doesn;t; there's gotta be something going on here.
