Re: [orca-list] [Bug 631123] Orca documentation needs to be updated, converted to Mallard, augmented, and moved to the Orca module

Hey Steve.

One thing that did help me get around on that front page was there
seemed to be some header markup before each section

Exactly. That's the idea. Heading navigation will give you the
*functional* table of contents at the overview level. Tabbing will
present same at the topic level. The headings are not themselves links
however.

Maybe this will take more getting used to
than anything.

This is what I'm hoping. Having said that, I of course want to find the
perfect combination of "looks like everyone else's help" (new,
Mallardized help) and "is fully accessible and easy to use." We'll get
it all sorted out.

One other question: I began looking at some of the help panels and ran
into a missing word on one of the files so far. Would you rather I
just comment on the error in the bug

Yes please. As I'm continuing to work, I'm catching these things. Other
people are catching and commenting as well. So I might have already
caught it or I might be about to catch it. <smile> Thus the easiest
thing is just to point out the nit on the bug so that I am sure it gets
addressed.

or I could hold on to this change and see if there are any others and
roll them into a single patch. If I decide to patch or if you prefer
such, how can we keep track of who's working on what so we don't come
up and bump heads over the same documents?

Please don't bother with patches until I believe I'm done. I think that
will be a waste of time, we *will* bump heads, etc. Just comment with
the nits for now.

Thanks much! Take care.
